A new Vietnamese restaurant has opened its doors in Williamsburg and looks to provide its customers a taste experience they said patrons cannot get anywhere else in the area.

Chopsticks Pho & Grill Restaurant, located at 5251 John Tyler Highway, opened roughly three weeks ago and has been serving customers a range of Vietnamese dishes, including deep fried squid, vermicelli bowls, rice dishes and, apt to the restaurant’s name, the noodle soup pho.

Pho is a Vietnamese noodle soup consisting of broth, linguine-shaped rice noodles, herbs and meat.

Chopsticks Pho & Grill Restaurant Owner Son Nguyen said he chose to open his restaurant in James City County because the area lacked a similar restaurant, thus setting himself up to draw in customers looking to experience Vietnamese food.

The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Chopsticks Pho & Grill Restaurant offers dine-in and carryout options, but does not deliver.
