James City County, Williamsburg and York County government offices and courts are closed today in observance of Veterans Day.
The York-Poquoson Social Services office and York County libraries will also be closed Tuesday.
The James City County Recreation Center and the Abram Frink Jr. Community Center, James City County libraries and James City County convenience centers and the garbage transfer station will remain open.
York County’s Administrative Office of the Waste Management Center will also be closed. All other waste management operations, including the transfer station, drop off areas and VPPSA compost facility will remain open.
The York County Virginia Cooperative Extension Service will remain open.
Curbside garbage and recycling will not be affected by the holiday.
