Three men are suspected of robbing a Comfort Inn employee at gunpoint Monday night, The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office reported Wednesday.
A news release on the YPSO Facebook page states three suspects entered the Comfort Inn on Route 17 armed with handguns around 10:45 p.m. Monday.
The suspects demanded money from an employee and fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount, the release said.
At least one person not employed by the hotel was present during the incident, Lt. Dennis Ivey said.
The first subject is described as wearing a gray hoodie and dark pants. The second suspect wore a camo fishing hat and dark clothing, according to the report. All three were described as black males, and there is no further description of the third suspect.
