Coach is reopening at 10 a.m. today in its new location at the Williamsburg Premium outlets in a larger store with room for Coach Men.
“A lot of men come into our store to ask if we have certain products, which we have a few of them but I definitely think there is a demand for it,” said Ashley Rodriguez, associate manager of Coach. “We’ll definitely know more once the store opens and we see the numbers.”
The new store is 10,000 square feet, compared to the old 4,500-square-foot store. In addition to offering women’s products such as purses and wallets, more men’s products will be offered as well.
Fans of Coach Men will be able to purchase a wide range of items including golf towels, balls and umbrellas, belts, wallets, money clips, coasters and briefcases. The previous location sold a few men’s items but didn’t have room for as many options.
The new store will be the fifth of its kind in the U.S., Rodriguez said.
Coach is now located across from the Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store and next to Tommy Hilfiger. The space was previously occupied by one of Reebok’s stores at the outlets.
Reebok will eventually move into the old Coach location, near Talbots and Juicy Couture. The other Reebok store, next to the food court, will be occupied by Lane Bryant, which is expected to open in September, according to Donna Standish, general manager of Williamsburg Premium Outlets.
Kitchen Collection is closed for remodeling and will reopen May 16. Sunglass Hut is also closed for remodeling and is expected to reopen in June.
Elizabeth Arden opened recently at the outlets and is located in between Carter’s and Crocs.
