Two new directors have been elected to serve four-year terms on the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, Inc.’s Board of Directors.
Hunter Applewhite of Richmond and Ann Gray of Williamsburg will join the 20-member board that directs the charitable arm of the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation.
President Sue Gerdelman, Vice President Jane Kaplan, Treasurer Clifford Fleet, Secretary Mari Ann Banks and Immediate Past President Marshall Acuff Jr. will continue to serve as officers.
Applewhite is the director of corporate advertising and public relations for Dominion Resources. He is a member of the executive committee of the Richmond Ballet and the board of trustees of the Historic Richmond Foundation.
Gray has worked as a school psychologist and educator for Newport News city Public Schools and has served on the development committee at the College of William and Mary’s School of Education. She has volunteered as a court-appointed special advocate.
The Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization responsible for coordinating fundraising for Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation’s programs. The Foundation administers the Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center history museums.
