Republican U.S. Senate candidate George Allen will hold a town-hall style meeting Thursday in Williamsburg.
Allen will answer questions and give a campaign update. The event is free and open to the public.
Allen is a former U.S. Senator who served in the role from 2001 to 2007, and a former governor of Virginia, a poistion that he held from 1994 to 1998. He has also served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and a member of the state House of Delegates.
Allen’s challenger is former Democratic Governor Tim Kaine.
The event will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Williamsburg Community Building on North Boundary Street. An RSVP is requested, but not required, to 220-4671.
