WILLIAMSBURG— Williamsburg-based gospel artist and longtime worship leader Tia Rachelle is set to release her new single, “Cast Your Cares,” impacting radio nationwide on February 27.
Known locally for her years serving as a worship leader and participating in area theater productions, Rachelle has steadily expanded her reach beyond the region while remaining rooted in the Williamsburg community. Following the national success of her previous single, “Get the Glory,” which charted on the Billboard Gospel Top 500, she now introduces her newest release.
“Cast Your Cares” was inspired by a personal season in Rachelle’s life where she was trying to carry burdens she was never meant to carry. The scripture 1 Peter 5:7 — “Cast your cares on Him” — became more than a verse; it became a turning point.
“This song came from a personal season where I was trying to carry things I wasn’t meant to carry,” Rachelle says. “When I kept hearing the words ‘Cast your cares on Him,’ it shifted something in me. It helped me release what I was holding, and I hope it helps someone else do the same.”
In addition to the single, Rachelle has created a companion devotional designed to provide reflection and encouragement aligned with the song’s message.
The release serves as the lead single from her upcoming album and reflects her continued growth as both a vocalist and songwriter while honoring the community where her journey began.
