Bike the Burg has Moved to a Great New Location Even Closer to the Heart of Colonial Williamsburg to Better Serve their Customers.
Bike the Burg, offering rentals, sales and service since 2017 pretty quickly outgrew their previous space on Second Street in Williamsburg and has moved into their new location at 515 York Street, just 2 blocks from Colonial Williamsburg.
“The past 2 years has far exceeded every expectation” says owner Wolt Stryker, a Williamsburg native. “Support from the community has been overwhelming. Our local friends and neighbors continue to come to support a locally owned and operated business” says Stryker. To meet the needs of their customer base, Bike the Burg continues to expand their product offering. In addition to a full line-up of Marin, Fuji and Del Sol, Bike the Burg has added Jamis Bikes, which includes full-suspension mountain bikes, street bikes and comfort cruisers.
In addition to the sale of new bikes, Bike the Burg is busy renting bikes to visitors from around the world. “Offering bike rentals so close to town is a great opportunity for tourists and locals alike to explore our historic city.” Stryker goes on, “locals can have a simple and easy family outing or bring their guests to see Williamsburg in a whole new way. We handle the logistics and do the heavy lifting, so adventure seeking families stop in, pick out a bike and set off exploring.”
Bike the Burg offers comfort cruisers, both single and multi-speed bikes for rent. They have men’s, women’s, kids-bikes as well as trailers for the little ones. Bike the Burg has something for everyone to see the sights like never before.
“We have been thrilled with the continued support from our neighbors as well as visitors from literally all over the world,” said Stryker. “We have had families from as far away as Ireland and Scotland, the Netherlands and the UK and as close as our own backyard. This has been a great experience for us to meet so many great people from around the world.”
