Williamsburg Police Neighborhood Engagement Officer

Williamsburg, VA – On Thursday June 28, 2018 the Williamsburg Police Department in partnership with the Highland Park community in the City of Williamsburg introduced Sergeant Bruce Johnson as the department’s first Neighborhood Engagement Officer.

Sergeant Johnson was introduced at the neighborhoods regular meeting. He will
serve as the neighborhoods point of contact with the community.

Chief Dunn said “The Neighborhood Engagement Officer is an important step in the department creating enhanced relationships with citizens to build trust, better address
crime and quality of life issues.
