How was your pet’s name chosen?
I chose the name Henry (I nixed my husband’s choice, which was Steve). At some point “Higgins” was added. People think we are very literary, when really it was quite random.
Does your pet have a favorite walking route?
He loves Carter’s Grove Country Road. We have to talk about it in code so he doesn’t get excited.
What’s the most embarrassing thing your pet has ever done?
Our neighbors take him to Colonial Williamsburg sometimes, and once he walked up to an interpreter, cocked his leg and peed on her skirt.
Does your pet have a pet peeve? If so, what is it?
He doesn’t like it when he sees the signs that someone is leaving, and he sits on the stairs and pouts.
If your pet could answer any question, but just one, what would you ask?
I would ask him to describe his perfect day so I could make sure he gets it as often as possible.
