Sweet Selections for Valentine’s Weekend

From Friday night to Sunday brunch, Colonial Williamsburg offers several sweet selections for celebrating Valentine’s Day this year.

Sweethearts Dinner: 6-9 p.m., Feb. 13 and 14; Regency Room in the Williamsburg Inn. Executive Chef Travis Brust presents a six-course menu, complemented by wine selections from the sommelier and ending with chocolate truffles. $99; $150 with wine pairings; tax and gratuity included.

Friday Date Night: 5-9 p.m., Feb. 13; Traditions Restaurant at the Williamsburg Lodge serves a sumptuous seafood buffet that also includes soups and salads, prime rib, roast pork, grilled chicken and plenty of desserts to delight. $38 for adults and $28.95 for children 6-12, plus tax and gratuity.

Sips with Chefs: Falling in Love with Bourbon and Chocolate: 5:50-6:30 p.m., Feb. 13 in the Taste Studio; Chefs Travis Brust and Scott Watson introduce selections of premium bourbon paired with chocolate. $45.50; tax and gratuity included.

Wine, Wit and Wisdom: Champagne and Chocolate: 2-4 p.m. Feb. 14 at the Williamsburg Lodge. Chef Rhys Lewis presents his popular study of wine varietals from around the world, paired with a taste that complements the wines. $45.50; tax and gratuity included.

An Affair to Remember Dinner: 6-9 p.m., Feb. 14, Traditions Restaurant in the Williamsburg Lodge; Chef Justin Addison has created a three-course prix fixe dinner by candlelight for $65; tax and gratuity included, or guests can order à la carte from the full menu.

Saint Valentine’s Brunch: 10 a.m.-1:45 p.m., Feb. 15.  Appetizers, small bites, salads, a selection of entrees and a chocolate lovers’ dessert buffet make this brunch a midday feast. $45 for adults and $25 for children 6-12; tax and gratuity included.
