YORK COUNTY— York County officials announce that voting at the Washington Square location is unavailable today due to a network connectivity issue.
The county says its elections staff and IT are actively engaged with the service provider and expect full restoration of service by Friday, March 20.
To ensure voters can continue to cast their ballots without interruption, the County is providing the following options:
• Vote today at Victory Village Address: 6614 Mooretown Road, Ste A, Williamsburg, VA 23188 Voting operations at Victory Village are open and running as scheduled.
• Return to Washington Square tomorrow. Service at Washington Square is expected to be fully restored on Friday, March 20. Voters who prefer to vote at their usual location are encouraged to return there by the county.
• Vote a provisional ballot at the Washington Square location, 5322 George Washington Memorial Highway, Yorktown, VA 23692
The county says that staff are present at Washington Square today to provide guidance, share directions to Victory Village, and answer questions.
Residents are encouraged to monitor the York County website and the County’s official social media accounts for updates throughout the day.
