WILLIAMSBURG — Williamsburg-James City County Schools and the School-University Resource Network at William & Mary School of Education are inviting the public to a screening of a new documentary, “Multiple Choice,” about reimagining high school by integrating academics with career prep to transform education.
“Multiple Choice” is the latest documentary from W&M alumnus Ted Dintersmith, and will be screened Monday, March 2 at 5:30 p.m. at the William & Mary School of Education.
Attendees will learn the story of Winchester Public Schools, a Virginia community where the superintendent is demonstrating the power of career-based learning, and Winchester’s Innovation Center, where all students explore diverse careers, collaborate, and master traditional and new-economy skills.
The division said “Multiple Choice” offers “an inspiring vision of kids finding purposeful paths, with a community united toward the goal of prosperity for all.”
“We are committed to increasing and enhancing real-world learning for our students at WJCC Schools, and we are exploring every opportunity in support of this vision in collaboration with our many community partners and leaders,” said WJCC Schools Superintendent Daniel F. Keever.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and the program will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. Parking passes will be emailed to registered guests the week before the event.
