Terrance Maigi founded Anonymous Coffee in 2022, and has been operating in New Town in Williamsburg since Autumn of 2025. Maigi said that one of his main motivations for opening Anonymous Coffee was to help end the stigma surrounding mental illness, and provide support to those who may be struggling with their mental health. He spoke with 92.3 FM The Tide about their menu with beverage and pastry offerings, their club card and associated discounts, and the ways Anonymous has created a community that supports ending the stigma surrounding mental illness.
