WILLIAMSBURG — Two Maids of Williamsburg, a local cleaning company, recently announced its partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free home cleanings for cancer patients.
Two Maids of Williamsburg owner Lee Sheridan, who also operates Two Maids of Virginia Beach, Two Maids of Chesapeake and Two Maids of Suffolk — all active partners with 501(c)(3) Cleaning for a Reason — first joined the nonprofit in April 2017 with the Virginia Beach location. Since then, his locations have supported nearly 130 cancer patients across these communities with donated cleanings valued at $41,463. With the addition of Two Maids of Williamsburg, Sheridan continues this mission, extending free cleaning services to more cancer patients and families in the region.
“Cancer has impacted us all. Our partnership with Cleaning for a Reason gives us the opportunity to care for patients and families who should be focusing on recovery and hope,” said Sheridan. “It’s incredible the impact a clean home can have on both mind and body, and we are truly honored to serve in this way.”
Cancer patients — of any age, gender, or type of cancer — may apply at cleaningforareason.org.
