The No. 2 most-read story of 2024 was a roundup of a slate of new laws passed by the Virginia General Assembly impacting the operation of the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority (ABC), its licensees and applicants for ABC licenses.
The legislation was passed during the 2024 session and signed into law by Gov. Glenn Youngkin, taking effect Monday, July 1.
