WILLIAMSBURG — As part of our countdown to 2025, WYDaily is revisiting its most-read and favorite stories of the year.
Coming in at No. 6, the story of a local couple who were suddenly struck by a car traveling at a speed of up to 40 mph in a parking lot in September.
Both were seriously injured after they were violently tossed by the impact as the driver of the car that hit them fled the scene. And yet, through this horrific experience, they chose to focus on the kindness and positivity that has surrounded them in the aftermath.
