WILLIAMSBURG — William & Mary has announced the Tribe’s 2025 football schedule, which features a 12-game slate and is highlighted by six home games at Zable Stadium.
Season tickets, including renewals, are now on sale at TribeAthletics.com.
W&M’s exciting 2025 campaign will begin with a season-opening matchup at Furman on Aug. 30, marking the second consecutive season in which the teams meet after the Tribe earned a 34-24 win in Williamsburg last fall.
The Tribe opens its home slate the following weekend when it begins its CAA schedule versus Maine (Sept. 6). Although W&M and UM did not play in 2024, the contest will be the Black Bears’ second trip to Zable Stadium in the last three seasons, as the Tribe earned a 28-3 win in 2023.
W&M will return to non-conference action the following two weeks with a game at Virginia (Sept. 13) and a home matchup versus Charleston Southern. The UVA contest will mark the teams’ eighth meeting since 2009, while CSU will make its first ever visit to Zable Stadium.
The Tribe’s conference slate will resume at Villanova on Sept. 27 before a home matchup with North Carolina A&T on Oct. 4 as part of Family Weekend.
Following an open week, W&M will conclude the month of October against Elon (Oct. 18) for Homecoming and with a trip to New Hampshire (Oct. 25). The matchup at UNH will mark the squads’ first meeting since 2017.
W&M will wrap up its CAA home slate against UAlbany on Nov. 1 before closing out conference play with back-to-back road games at Campbell (Nov. 8) and Hampton (Nov. 15).
The Capital Cup Game Presented by C&F Bank versus longtime rival Richmond at Zable Stadium on Nov. 22 will conclude the regular season. The matchup will mark the 136th meeting between W&M and UR but the first as non-conference opponents since 1992.
Kickoff times will be announced at a later date.
W&M enters the 2025 campaign having posted four consecutive winning seasons. Additionally, the Tribe garnered a top-25 national ranking during each of the last four seasons.
