WILLIAMSBURG — Due to the threat of inclement weather for Wednesday, June 21, James City County Parks & Recreation has announced New Town Tunes is canceled.
The scheduled band, Brasswind, will be one of the featured bands this fall, the county said, adding that fall dates will be announced shortly.
New Town announced on May 23 it was extending New Town Tunes with four more Wednesday night concerts in partnership with James City County Parks & Recreation and CultureFix. The June 21 date was the final performance of the extended run.
The county thanked those who supported the concerts this spring.
