Ever since the closure of Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall in 2019, the College of William & Mary’s Theatre, Speech, and Dance Department has been scattered throughout campus. Along with academic classes, student-led theatre organizations such as the Sinfonicron Light Opera Company also currently use the Kimball stage.
With the construction of the renovated Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall reaching its long-awaited conclusion, the Theatre and Dance programs begin preparing for their transition into the new space. In this video, we will hear perspectives from professors and students who have used the Kimball Theatre as they reflect on both the past, present, and future of their projects as performers.
