YORK COUNTY — The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office (YPSO) announced Friday morning that Jayquan A. Jones, the fourth suspect in the shooting death of Tyosha Tanique Mitchell, was arrested Thursday evening in Richmond.
The body of the 25-year-old Richmond woman was discovered Saturday along Old Williamsburg Road in York County.
YPSO said Jones, age 20, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit a felony and is currently being held in the Richmond City Jail. All arrested in the case have been charged with the same offenses.
The investigation is ongoing, and the Sheriff’s Office said more arrests are possible.
