DESCRIPTION
Come and learn about virtual reality (VR) by playing in VR environments, and learning about the science and technology behind the games. These two-day, 4-hour, sessions will immerse your teens in the latest game technology while providing hands-on experience in game development. Lunch is provided. Sessions run on Mondays and Tuesdays all summer long from 10AM to 2PM. 12 students max per session.

- Day 1
- Introduction to Virtual Reality
- Join in group VR environment to talk in VR rooms and play games
- Lunch (provided) –
- VR Study of light, reflection, refraction, waves versus digital light
- Build and take home digital light toy
- Day 2
- Motion capture basics/programming basics
- Video meeting/questions with game developer Lunch (provided)
- Time on Vive Pro stations Discussion on VR equipment including cost and comparisons
- Discussion on VR and AR technology and looking into the future
