Barn & Shed Consultant Coleson Pokorny from Emerlin Custom Storage Sheds & Outdoor Buildings visited the Tide Studio to discuss how Emerlin constructs custom outdoor structures that are built to last across Hampton Roads. The company was formed as Colonial Barns by Merlin Miller in 1979, and the first shed they built is still standing today. They’ve adopted the new name Emerlin Custom Storage Sheds & Outdoor Building, which goes into effect on February 1st. Pokorny said they’ve taken a new name to honor the past and look ahead to their future, which includes expanding their services to include concrete slabs and floors, electrical, and garages.
