Busch Gardens Williamsburg Named Most Beautiful Park for 35th Consecutive Year

LOMBARD, Illinois — The National Amusement Park Historical Association released the results of its 39th annual NAPHA Amusement Park and Attractions Survey, and Busch Gardens Williamsburg was named most beautiful park for the 35th consecutive year.

The National Amusement Park Historical Association, founded in 1978, is an international, educational and enthusiast’s organization dedicated to preserving and documenting the heritage of the amusement park industry, past, present and future. The survey is the oldest of its type, the organization said.

Some of the other attractions receiving top ratings in the survey include:

  • Favorite Traditional Amusement Park: Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, Pennsylvania
  • Favorite Theme Park: Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
  • Favorite Wood Coaster: Phoenix, Knoebels Amusement Resort for the 14th year in a row
  • Favorite Steel Coaster: Millennium Force in Cedar Point, Sandusky Ohio
  • Favorite New Attraction: Bobcat, Six Flags Great Escape in Queensbury, New York
