WILLIAMSBURG — HALO Inspirations, a new quilting shop, celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 14.

The family-owned business is the result of husband and wife Angel and Eric Stauffer and their two children. Angel’s said her love of quilting began when her mother brought her to a quilt shop where she saw all of the beautiful quilts. She decided to try it for herself.

“That’s where it all started, I just saw these beautiful quilts and I quickly learned that it wasn’t as easy as it appears,” Angel recalled while addressing the crowd at the ribbon cutting. “But I did learn a few things along the way. I learned about quilters and I learned about quilts. Every quilt has a story, every single quilt. And when you learn those stories it helps connect us as humans.”

HALO Inspirations sells fabrics and supplies for both experienced and new quilters. The business also plans on offering classes.

“Thank you for allowing us to learn beautiful stories about people and connecting,” Angel said to members of the community in attendance.

HALO Inspirations is located at 151 Kristiansand Drive, Suite 115, Williamsburg. For more information about HALO Inspirations, visit its official website or check out its YouTube Channel.
