Candy and discount-book stores open for business at Williamsburg outlets

If you love books and sweets, there are two new reasons to swing by the Williamsburg Premium Outlets.

Book Warehouse, a discount retailer, and See’s Candies are now open at the outlet mall, according to a release.

“We are pleased to announce these new options for our guests – perfect for stocking up during those holiday shopping sprees,” General Manager Brandy Coffee said in the release.

Book Warehouse offers new titles at discounts ranging from 50 to 80 percent off, including cookbooks children’s stories, educational releases and romance. The store is located between Burberry and Cole Haan.

See’s Candies has been in business for 90 years and uses fresh ingredients and no preservatives, according to the release. The confectioner opened at the outlet center Thursday and is located between Le Creuset and Ben & Jerry’s.

Williamsburg Premium Outlets, located at 5715 Richmond Road, is home to more than 100 stores, including The North Face, Vineyard Vines and Kate Spade New York.
