Who is on that stage?
For any live music fan looking for some variety, Jon Smith has you covered. Listen as he takes you on a genre bending set, from Prince’s “Little Red Corvette” to Tyler Childer’s modern classic “Universal Sound.”
What about something for the kids? How about a medley of songs from almost every Disney movie of the last half century.
Looking for a song that will make you feel some kind of way? Get out the tissues as Jon unleashes a gut wrenching cover of Jason Isbell’s “Cover Me Up.”
Here are five quick facts about Jon Smith:
Q: What was the first album to blow your mind?
A: “Texas Flood” by Stevie Ray Vaughan. I had never heard anyone play a guitar or sing like that before.

A: My Martin [guitar]. It’s well balanced. Really great acoustics.
Q: When and where was your first gig and how did it go?
A: My first paid gig was with Paul Todd at the Portsmouth Renaissance Hotel. We split $100 and one meal.
Q: What is your favorite song to cover live?
A: Either “Man in the Mirror” by Michael Jackson or “Cover Me Up” by Jason Isbell.
Q: When and where are your next few gigs?
