Over the course of ten minutes an armed man robbed a Walgreens and a McDonald’s Sunday night, Norfolk police said.
The suspect entered the Walgreens, located at 8609 Tidewater Drive around 7:20 p.m. He took out his gun and demanded cigarettes, police said.
Then around 7:30 p.m., the man went to the McDonald’s at 8402 Tidewater Drive, displayed his gun again and demanded money from the cashier, police said.
No one was injured during either incident.
The suspect is described as a white man in his late-40s or early-50s who is around 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a blue and grey plaid hooded sweatshirt, tan pants and white shoes.
