The 2014 Focus on Active Living Series continues Wednesday, July 30 with board-certified cardiologist and internal medicine Dr. Vasudev G. Ananthram. In this session Dr. Ananthram will discuss heart disease and its effects on your health.
The topics will include: the misconceptions that can hurt you, traditional and gender-related risk factors, heart attack symptoms that are unique to women, why heart disease is not limited to older women, update on treatment and symptom management, the benefits of a heart healthy diet and exercise and why is stress reduction is important.
