Jamestown 3 Warhill 0
Aaliyah Lyttle, Paige Majdic and Kacey Dolan each scored as Jamestown shut out Warhill 3-0 on Senior Night to cap off an unbeaten regular season for the Eagles (9-0 BRD), who will be the top seed entering Thursday’s district tournament. Majdic, Lyttle and Bailey Cristian tallied assists in the win.
BOYS SOCCER
York 2 Bruton 1 (OT)
Trailing 1-0 late in the second half, Hunter Strack scored late on a direct for York before freshman Garrett Gonzalez provided the game winner in the closing minutes of the second overtime period as the Falcons rallied for a 2-1road win at Bruton.
SOFTBALL
Poquoson 6 New Kent 4
Poquoson spoiled New Kent’s hopes of a Bay Rivers District title as Haylie Sawyer belted a two-run walk-off homerun in the bottom of the 11th inning to give the Islanders (9-8 BRD) a 6-4 win over the visiting Trojans (14-4 BRD).
