Hometown: Williamsburg Landing Blood Drive a Success

Williamsburg Landing recently hosted its annual American Red Cross blood drive for residents, employees and the Williamsburg community.

This year they donated 32 pints of blood, passing their original goal.

The Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters, such as Hurricane Sandy, as well as supplying about 40 percent of the nation’s blood. In addition, the non-profit organization supports military members and their families.
