WEST POINT, N.Y. — The William & Mary men’s gymnastics team earned its best score of the season and placed third at a tri-meet hosted Army on Saturday afternoon.
Army claimed the team title with a 393.400 and was followed by Springfield (393.35) and W&M (387.25).
A trio of Tribe standouts claimed individual titles, as Garrett Kasiski won floor (14.3, career high), Niko Greenly won rings (13.25) and Sam Lee won vault (14.55). In addition to being a career high for Kasiski, his impressive score ranks seventh in school history.
Ricky Pizem also posted a top-three finish and placed second on high bar with a 13.25.
In addition to recording its best overall score this season, W&M posted the meet’s top mark on floor with a season-best (67.95) and matched its best score of the year on high bar (63.55).
