Jamestown cruised to a decisive 9-0 victory against Tabb on the road Wednesday afternoon.

The Eagles did not need much time to dispatch their singles opponents, as all singles matches finished in quick succession, with each match lasting roughly an hour.

Despite holding a 6-0 lead after singles play, Jamestown did not let up in the three doubles matches.

Jamestown’s No. 2 and No. 3 doubles teams earned 8-0 victories. At No. 1 doubles, Grayson DeBerry and Brad Mahaffey of Jamestown edged Tabb’s Jimmy Qing and Jacob Borowy 8-6 in the final match of the day.

Jamestown (2-2) will head to Cape Henry Collegiate on Thursday for an exhibition match against some of the top singles players in the nation. Meanwhile, Tabb (1-1) will visit New Kent on April 12 after spring break.
