
Chase Greene’s goal in overtime propelled Grafton to a 4-3 win at home against Denbigh on Monday.
Andrew Bender opened the scoring for Grafton in the first half, but Denbigh quickly countered with a goal of its own to tie the game up at 1-1.
Grafton responded with back-to-back goals, the first from Adam King off an assist from Dylan Lorio-MacNamara and the second from Patrick Garber.
With Grafton leading 3-1, Denbigh scored back-to-back goals and sent the game into overtime.
Greene’s overtime game-winning goal pushed Grafton’s (4-1) win streak to two games. The Clippers will look to continue their winning ways after spring break when they visit Poquoson on April 12.
