
Every Bruton basketball player earned a spot on the stat sheet Monday night during the Panthers’ 73-28 home victory against Washington & Lee.
The Panthers dominated the game from the outset, building a 19-2 lead after the first quarter. The second quarter was more of the same as the Panthers outscored Washington & Lee 22-5.
Bruton held a commanding 41-7 lead over Washington & Lee by halftime.
With Bruton leading solidly by halftime, the Panthers were able to begin subbing in reserve players in the second half. Allowing backups to play in the second half resulted in every Bruton player to score at least one points in the victory.
Bruton (8-2) has won three consecutive games and faces a quick turnaround with a road game against Smithfield on Tuesday.
