The Jamestown boys and girls swim teams took first place during the Conference 19 swim tournament held at the Fort Eustis Aquatic Center on Friday evening.
The Jamestown boys took first place with 535 points — 76 points ahead of second-place Grafton’s 459 points.
While Jamestown did not come away with many individual winners, the Eagles placed multiple swimmers in the top five of multiple events to rack up points.
Grafton’s Nathan Kimbel and Jonathan Spires each won multiple events during the meet. Kimbel took first place in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke, while Spires won the 100 and 200 freestyle events.
The Jamestown girls swim team took first overall with 554.5 points, 136 points ahead of Tabb, which finished with 418.5 points.
Margaret Williams won two individual events for Jamestown by notching wins in the 100 and 200 freestyle events.
Grafton’s Jacqueline Tinneny earned multi-event winner status by logging wins in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke.
