Strong Third Quarter Lifts HRA Over Walsingham
Kellyn Dechirico’s double-double of 10 points and 15 rebounds helped give Hampton Roads Academy a 59-54 home victory over Walsingham Academy on Friday.
Leigha Arcand paced the Navigators (4-8, 2-4) with 15 points, while Tori Ross added 14 points on the interior.
Stephanie Seaman led Walsingham Academy (11-9, 2-4) with 18 points, while Ashley Barnes chipped in 13.
The Navigators continue their season by traveling to Richmond Christian on Tuesday, while Walsingham takes on the Hampton Roads Cougars on Saturday.

Williamsburg Christian Defense Stifles Alliance
The Williamsburg Christian Academy girls basketball team held Alliance Christian to eight points during a 64-8 home rout Friday evening.
Imani Bryant led WCA (18-3, 10-1) with 15 points, while Charnissa Chillers added 14 points.
The Eagles will continue their season tomorrow by traveling to play Norfolk Christian.
