Jamiyah Johnson logged a monster game with 28 points and 20 rebounds to give Jamestown one of the biggest upsets in the Bay Rivers District this season, upending Warhill 57-52 at home Thursday evening.
Jamestown (4-13, 4-12 Bay Rivers District) entered the fourth quarter trailing by 10 points before reeling off a 21-6 advantage in the final stanza.
Olivia Peterson scored 12 points for the Eagles, while Lia Weisflog added 11.
Kasey Grainer led Warhill (14-5, 11-5) with 19 points, and Alayna Cormier chipped in 11.
Warhill now faces a tall task heading into its final game of the season. The Lions host second-place Lafayette on Tuesday. Jamestown has a quick turnaround, traveling to Mathews on Friday.

Hall’s 34 Points Carries Grafton Past Bruton
Christa Hall scored a career-high 34 points to go along with 11 rebounds and five assists during Grafton’s 55-35 road win over Bruton on Thursday evening.
Grafton’s Hayley Marshall and Haley Cunningham each got into foul trouble in the first half, leaving Hall to do most of the heavy lifting on the offensive end.
Facing a man-to-man defense, Hall continually blew past her defender, pulling up for mid-range jumpers after the Bruton defense collapsed. Hall scored 23 points in the first half with seven coming off free throws.
Kelsey Sluss led Bruton (7-13, 5-11) with 12 points, while Tonaza Hawkins added 10.
Grafton (14-6, 11-5 Bay Rivers District) hosts Poquoson on Tuesday, while Bruton visits last-place New Kent on the same night.

The Tabb girls basketball team won an easy 54-30 road contest against the York Falcons on Thursday.
Imani McDowell-Jarmon continued her impressive season by scoring a game-high 22 points for Tabb (15-4, 13-3 Bay Rivers District).
Madison Van Dyke scored a team-high 13 points for York (4-13, 3-13), while Rakeema Willis chipped in 10.
Tabb continues its season by traveling to play Jamestown on Tuesday. York will play a road game against Smithfield on the same night.
