WILLIAMSBURG — For the Ribbons (FTR) will host an event at Virginia Beer Company (VBC) to support patients at Lackey Clinic with medical debt from third-party healthcare providers, such as ambulance bills and hospital visits.

Lackey Clinic, 1620 Old Williamsburg Rd, is a faith-based free and charitable health care center for low-income, uninsured adults.

The fundraising event will take place at VBC, located at 401 2nd Street in Williamsburg, on Friday, Nov. 5 at 5:15 p.m., and will include live music, food, and beer.

VBC will give 10 percent of proceeds from all year-round draft pours for the night towards FTR’s cause. Customers can mention that they are there for FTR’s cause to get 20 percent off their beverage.

FTR is a nonprofit student-run organization at William & Mary that raises money for those who are financially suffering from medical debt across the country.
