Sybil Lucille Stolzenberg, born on January 10, 1929, in Brooklyn, New York, peacefully departed this world in Woodbridge, Virginia. Throughout her life, she embodied dedication, love, and service to others.
Sybil’s vocation as an elementary school teacher allowed her to touch countless young lives with knowledge and kindness. She approached every day with passion and a commitment to nurturing the minds of future generations. Her influence extended beyond the classroom as she graciously volunteered her time at the local library, instilling a love for reading and learning in all who crossed her path.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Milton, and her parents, Jacob & Sadie Schwaid and brother Gabriel Schwaid, Sybil leaves behind a legacy rooted in family and enduring bonds. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Dineen, Julia Strout and her husband Bill, and Dr. Laura Stolzenberg and her husband Dan Hand; her cherished grandchildren, Jennifer Hernandez and her husband Ricardo, Timothy Dineen and his wife Meg, and Lara Dineen; and great-grandchildren, Makayla, Alex, Jackson, Alyssa, Sofia, and Delaney.
In her life’s journey, Sybil Lucille Stolzenberg left an indelible mark on everyone she met, inspiring those around her with her unwavering dedication to education, community, and family. Her memory will forever shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
