Kenneth M. “Kenny” Hazzard, 52, has gone to be with the Lord after a brief battle with cancer.
He loved his family and friends, being a fire fighter for Central King & Queen Volunteer Fire Department and was a big fan of NASCAR and the Baltimore Ravens. He greatly missed all of the dalmatians that had been his companions over the years.
Kenny was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Myrtes Jones and Shirley K. Jones; paternal grandparents, James and Lorraine Rainier, and Frank and Electa Hazzard; as well as his best friend and cousin, Carroll Carter, III.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Lynn; his children, Keith (Sara), Angelia (Alex), and Kalvin; his grandchildren, Madison, Brantley and Samuel; and his beloved parents, Carroll and Nancy Hazzard.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m.-12 noon, Tuesday, February 10th at Lower King & Queen Baptist Church, 204 Timber Branch Rd., Mascot, VA 23108. The funeral service will begin at noon and will be followed by interment in the church cemetery.
