Louanne Titus, 87, of Norfolk, Virginia, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026, at Signature Health Care of Norfolk following a three-month illness.
Louanne was born on November 24, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio, to Dewight and Dasie Frasure. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents.
She is survived by her sons, David Titus and Jeffrey Titus, who will forever cherish her memory.
Louanne dedicated 40 years of service to Kramer Tire Company in Norfolk, where she was known for her strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment. She was a faithful member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Norfolk, Virginia.
Throughout her life, Louanne lived in several places including Ohio, Maine, New Jersey, and Virginia, each of which held special memories for her. She attended college at The Ohio State University, where she developed a lifelong love for basketball. While in college, Louanne was a basketball player herself and remained passionate about the game throughout her life. She especially loved women’s basketball, with Old Dominion University being her favorite team.
In addition to basketball, Louanne enjoyed bowling and valued the friendships and community that came with it. She will be remembered for her quiet strength, dedication, and love of sports.
Louanne will be greatly missed by her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
