Woody Giles, age 94, passed to his eternal life on Friday, January 9, 2026.
Woody was born to Urbane W. and Rena Lantz Giles of Bedford County, Virginia. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by Dorothy his wife of 71 years, his sons, Kevin Giles and Mark Giles, grandchildren, Eric, Nathan, Kristen and Rachel and great grandson, Brooks.
Kind, honest and spiritual are words that come to mind to describe Woody. He was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church where he served as Sunday school superintendent and Sunday school teacher, deacon, usher and teller.
