Robert “Ray” Worsham, 83, of Quinton, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, January 11, 2026.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Carol (Robinson); his son, Robert E. (Angela); his two granddaughters, Jennifer and Victoria; his brother, Bruce; and several nieces and nephews.
Ray was preceded in death by his brothers, James “Buddy” and Waring “Lewis”; his sisters, Mary Francis (Frankie), Brenda, Iris, and Sissy; and his nephew, Gino Ray Guridy.
He served in the Virginia Air National Guard from 1965-1971, and as a millwright at DuPont textile plant in Richmond for over 39 years. He had a love for his country, good gospel music, and most of all for his wife, his son, his daughter-in-law, and “grand-girls”.
