Terry Patrick Girard, 77, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025. Terry was born to Armand “Mike” and Yvette “Dani” Girard in Hampton, Virginia, where he was raised.
Terry was a member of the United States Armed Services and retired as Night Manager from La Quinta Inn Inc. after many years of service. Terry was a passionate cat lover and provided a loving home to many cats over the years including Bubba and Angel, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge most recently. Terry will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit and his quirky sense of humor.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Dani Girard and his loving wife of 21 years, Anne Blanche Girard. Terry is survived by his brothers, Greg and Remy Girard; his stepsons, Jason Tackaberry (Lori) and Jeffery Tackaberry (Kelly); his brother-in-law, Jack Douglas Carper and many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA or the Humane Society.
Interment will be private.
