Anna Maria Harrison, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, in Norfolk, Virginia, at the age of 89. Born on March 19, 1936, in Mainz-Kastel, Germany, she lived a life marked by dedication, warmth, and kindness.
Anna was preceded in death by her loving parents, Jakob and Maria Christina Bösing, and her devoted husband, Gilmore Allen Harrison. Her legacy continues through her cherished daughter, Nancy Blaylock (Ricky).
Throughout her life, Anna found joy in simple pleasures. Her work as a maid was carried out with diligence and pride, reflecting her steadfast work ethic. In her leisure time, she delighted in knitting and crocheting, creating beautiful works that will serve as lasting reminders of her talent and patience. She possessed a deep love for German music, which transported her back to her roots, and she found solace and adventure in the pages of the books she so loved to read.
Although Anna has departed from this world, the memories she created and the lives she touched remain vibrant. Her gentle spirit and unwavering love for her family and friends will be dearly missed.
In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held. Anna’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered support and condolences during this difficult time. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
