Janie Roy Creasy (Vincent Funeral Home)

Janie Roy Creasy, 69, passed away peacefully on December 1st, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply.

Born and raised in King and Queen County, Janie lived a life defined by kindness, devotion, and an unwavering love for her family. A lifelong homemaker, she poured her heart into raising her two daughters, creating a home filled with warmth, an abundance of love, and gentle strength. Her greatest joy came from caring for others, and she did so with a grace and patience that touched every person who crossed her path.

Janie was the kindest soul; someone who never met a person she wasn’t willing to help. Her selflessness was unmatched. Whether you were family, friend, or stranger, if you needed her, she was there without hesitation. Her love for her family shone through everything she did, from the big sacrifices to the small and everyday acts of devotion.

She is survived by her daughters, Michele (Nicky) and Samantha (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Marlee, Presley, Charlotte, and Emmett; and her brothers, Harry (Anita) and Billy (Sharon). She is also cherished and remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members whom she loved dearly.

Janie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mike; her parents, Clayton and Irma; and her granddaughter, Balee.

She will be forever remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother– steadfast, supportive, and present for every moment, big or small. She never missed an event for her children, never missed a chance to show up, and never missed an opportunity to say “I love you.” Her strength carried her through life’s hardest moments, and her love carried those around her through theirs.
