Josephine Blanchard passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born in Bamberg, Germany, in 1938, she was the youngest of five children to Andreas Gohl and Elizabeth (Schaf) Gohl, all now deceased.
She is survived by her sons Robert (Julie) and Alton (Mary); three grandchildren: Caryl-Anne (Ellis), Matthew, and Catie; five great-grandchildren: Destinee (Memo), Alexys, Jayden, Mason, and Maddie; and one great-great-grandchild, Zavian.
In her final months, Josephine was blessed with the support and care of several individuals who became her angels on earth. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Katelyn, Anne, Rosa, and Jessica for their compassion and dedication.
Arrangements for Josephine are private, and the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice House of Williamsburg in her honor.
