Kirby Wayne Bullock, 70, of Williamsburg

Kirby Wayne Bullock, born on April 28, 1955, in Fairbanks, Alaska. He passed away in his home on September 16, 2025 in Williamsburg, Virginia following a five year battle with colon cancer. Kirby was predeceased by his parents Wayne and Alene Bullock, brother James Bullock, and his second wife, Cynthia Millard McConkie Bullock.

Kirby is survived by his wife, Diane Bullock, his sisters Lynda Monson, Marigay E Barnes, Tami Mayhoffer, Sharon Moore, and ReNae Anderson, his children Devon Bullock, Brandon Bullock, Chelsea Bullock, Shagwhelin Bullock, and Dakota Bullock, and step children Cameron McConkie, Amber Mason, and Joy Mason, as well as nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Kirby held many “odd jobs” and careers throughout his early years. He did contractor work and painted houses, worked at a cement business, silkscreened tshirts and hoodies, and picked pineapples in Lanai, Hawaii. He was a volunteer firefighter in Rist Canyon, Colorado. He settled into his career in massage therapy for 20 years. Then at 65 years old, he fulfilled his dream of owning and operating Kirbside Hawgs and Dawgs, a well known hotdog cart in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Outside of his work life, he enjoyed motorcycles, dancing, and his love for music. He performed in many bands including Tumbleweed, a country band from Colorado that released a vinyl record in 1982. He also loved to dance, and always made a point to dance with Diane.

His family and friends will be honoring the life of Kirby Wayne Bullock with a Celebration of Life service. This service will be held on October 8th, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm at Alewerks Brewing Company in Williamsburg, Virginia.

For those who aren’t able to attend the “Celebration of Life” service, a Facebook live broadcast will be set up for anyone to attend virtually on Kirbside Dawgs and Hawgs Facebook page.
