She was a member of Colosse Baptist Church, where she served in various capacities over the years with the church family she loved, most recently as a Sunday school teacher of an adult class. Jennifer was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer in 2018. She was blessed with seven more years, during which she enjoyed traveling with Tom, and continued to work, garden, bake, go to the beach and spend time with her family.
A celebration of life will be held at Colosse Baptist Church, 23945 King William Rd, West Point, VA 23181, on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 11 a.m. with a reception after.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Colosse Baptist Church building fund or debt reduction fund.
Her family thanks all who shared in her hope, grace and love over the years. Her gentle kindness and endless compassion touched more lives than will ever be known. She will be loved, missed and in our hearts forever.
